Coffee Shop Meetings 2008

In an effort to get to know residents, landowners, and local officials in the Lower Platte River Corridor, the LPRCA will hold a series of 17 coffee shop meetings in various communites beginning this spring (Map of locations). In addition to FREE coffee and rolls/pastries/doughnuts, we will present information on the Alliance, the Corridor, and current/planned activities and projects. But most importantly, these coffee shop meetings will provide opportunities for the public and local officials to learn about the Alliance and give valuable input regarding Lower Platte RIver Corridor issues.

Additional meetings will be scheduled for the following communities either this winter or spring: Fremont/Inglewood, Valley, Waterloo, Ashland, Gretna, Louisville, Cedar Creek, and Plattsmouth. If you would like to help or serve as a host, please contact us at (402) 476-2729 or e-mail us at msittler@lpsnrd.org.
